The Handsome Male Lead Won't Let Me Log Out

Following a tragic accident, development on the virtual reality game "Marigold in a Box" is abruptly halted. As the manager of the development team, Sun-ah is left devastated by the sudden cancellation. Seeking one last goodbye, she logs into the unfinished world for a final farewell. However, what begins as a simple visit quickly spirals out of control when she discovers that character customization is disabled and the logout function has vanished entirely. Trapped inside the system, she is forced to inhabit the role of the game's protagonist, Cloe Marigold. Desperate to escape, Sun-ah devises a grim plan: if she can trigger a death ending within the game, she believes the system will release her. Yet every attempt at self-destruction is thwarted by overly protective NPC characters who constantly interfere with her efforts. After coming agonizingly close to freedom only to fail once again, she realizes that dying is no longer an option. With all other avenues closed off, Sun-ah is left with a single path back to reality—she must conquer the very game she helped create and beat it from the inside out.
