Dear sir Hannibal

Kibayashi Rento is no ordinary young man. He is a personification of a supernatural entity, born into an ancient lineage of Ents—beings intrinsically tied to the oak trees of the natural world. Despite his extraordinary heritage, Rento finds himself in a remarkably mundane predicament when he loses his arm while attempting to rescue a stranded cat from a tree. Forced to wander in search of his missing limb, his desperate quest takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Kurashina Saya, the very girl who has already found his severed arm. Saya is not only the object of Rento’s long-held affection but also a fellow personification harboring a far darker lineage. She descends from a family of Ghouls, supernatural beings defined by their insatiable appetite for humanoid flesh. This dangerous biological truth casts a chilling shadow over their chance encounter, transforming a simple reunion into a delicate and potentially perilous situation. As Rento navigates his gratitude and romantic feelings, he must confront the stark reality of what Saya truly is. Whether genuine romance can blossom between a gentle descendant of trees and a predator driven by a hunger for human-like meat remains to be seen, setting the stage for a uniquely compelling tale of forbidden supernatural affection.
