Brutal: Satsujin Kansatsukan no Kokuhaku

Dan Hiroki appears to be the model law enforcement officer. As a dedicated homicide detective and the son of the former Superintendent General of Police, he enjoys immense prestige and seems destined for a rapid ascent through the ranks. To his colleagues and the public, he represents the very best of the justice system—a man born into authority who chose to serve it from the front lines. Yet beneath this impeccable professional facade lies a chilling secret. Dan is simultaneously a prolific serial killer responsible for the deaths of more than one hundred individuals. His victims are not chosen at random; they are carefully selected targets whom he has personally judged to be untouchable by conventional legal means. Operating under the belief that the justice system is fundamentally flawed and incapable of punishing certain criminals, he has taken the role of executioner upon himself. This harrowing double life places Dan at the center of an intense moral and psychological conflict. He hunts murderers by day while committing murder by night, blurring the line between righteous enforcer and monstrous predator. As the body count rises, the tension between his duty as a protector of the law and his self-appointed role as its ultimate arbiter threatens to unravel everything he has built.
