Mikansei na Karada

Mikansei na Karada is a collection of compelling romantic stories exploring the complexities of love, desire, and human connection. In "Incomplete Body," Masaki ends his relationship with his older lover, Kyouji, so that Kyouji can pursue a conventional romance with a woman. However, Kyouji repeatedly returns under the guise of craving Masaki's cooking, leaving both men to wonder if they can truly sever their bond. Meanwhile, "Incurable Love" follows Kou Kawaguchi, a teenage pop idol whose agent, Nagano, actively prevents him from seeing Gariyou, his high school friend and secret crush, raising questions about Nagano's true intentions. The anthology continues with "The Resting Snake," where Shitsuke, a young man drawn to older partners, decides to teach the rigidly straitlaced student Tagawa a lesson after being criticized for his lifestyle. Other tales include the mysterious "Voiceless Night" and "Spiritual Apartment," in which Narazaki's plan to confess his feelings to Takemoto is derailed by a sudden accident that transports them both into a supernatural dwelling. Finally, "Shameless Night" chronicles the ongoing companionship between Takatou and Moriyama. Despite their deepening attachment, Takatou dismisses their intimacy as a mere byproduct of drinking and economic hardship. When he resolves to end the arrangement, he must face Moriyama's reaction and confront whether he can truly follow through with his decision.
