Aoi Midorikawa is a lawyer whose daily routine consists of little more than languishing in the dull torpor of his office. His monotonous existence is abruptly interrupted when an elderly woman arrives seeking legal assistance. She wishes to formally evict a tenant who has become a delinquent debtor, prompting Midorikawa to leave his desk and investigate the situation firsthand. Upon arriving at the rented apartment in question, the lawyer immediately notices that something is deeply wrong. The unit is entirely sealed shut by a heavy padlock fastened across the door from the outside. More unsettling still, the handle oozes a thick, viscous liquid that clings stubbornly to the touch. What initially appeared to be a straightforward eviction case quickly spirals into something far more sinister. This bizarre discovery marks the beginning of a hallucinatory narrative steeped in mystery, as Midorikawa finds himself drawn into an inexplicable nightmare lurking behind the locked door.
