Mushibugyou

In response to the public's growing demand for reform, suggestion boxes were established throughout the city so citizens could voice their grievances. This initiative led to two significant developments: the creation of the Koishigawa Youjoujo for the people, and the formation of an inner-city magistrate office known as the Mushibugyou. Tasked with maintaining order, this newly established organization sought capable fighters to join its ranks. Tsukishima Jinbee is a dedicated warrior who firmly believes that weakness has no place in combat. Driven by his ambition to become the strongest, he catches the attention of a Mushibugyou representative who recruits him for duty. Given only instructions to travel to Edo and the promise that his purpose would become clear upon arrival, Jinbee sets off for the capital. However, shortly after reaching the city, his journey takes a dark turn when he hears a piercing scream. Rushing toward the sound, he discovers a horrifying sight: a massive, spider-like creature feasting on innocent citizens. True to his convictions as a warrior, Jinbee cannot simply stand by and watch such carnage unfold.
