Raven of the Inner Palace

Deep within the secluded confines of the inner palace resides an enigmatic figure known as the Raven Consort. Though she holds the prestigious title of consort, she does not serve the emperor in any traditional capacity. Whispers among those who have encountered her offer conflicting accounts: some describe her as a frail old woman, while others insist she appears as a young girl. Legends surrounding her speak of mastery over mysterious arts, claiming she can fulfill any request brought before her, from casting deadly curses to locating lost objects. Driven by these enduring rumors, Koushun, the reigning emperor, ventures into the depths of the inner palace to seek her aid with a specific intention. He approaches the elusive Raven Consort hoping to harness her extraordinary abilities for his own purpose. However, neither anticipates the profound consequences of this encounter. What begins as a simple audience soon transforms into a fated meeting, one destined to become a forbidden act that will ultimately overturn the very course of history.
