Almark

In the war-torn northern territories, where conflict rages without end, a young boy named Almark dreams of following in his father's footsteps to become a mercenary. However, his father recognizes that Almark's timid nature makes him ill-suited for the brutal realities of the battlefield. Hoping to spare his son from a life of violence, he envisions a vastly different future for him—one far removed from the endless fighting of their homeland. Once Almark comes of age, his father arranges for him to enroll at the Nork Magical Academy, an institution located in the tranquil southern regions. Despite the boy's persistent efforts to prove himself both on and off the battlefield, he ultimately chooses to honor his father's wishes and departs for the academy. Leaving behind the only world he has ever known, Almark begins a journey that will test his resolve and reshape his destiny. As he steps into this unfamiliar realm of magic and peace, he must discover what it truly means to forge his own path as a magician.
