The Ephemeral Scenes of Setsuna's Journey

Summoned to another world as its sixty-eighth hero, Setsuna Sugimoto is swiftly cast aside due to his frail and sickly constitution. Deemed unfit for the grand role thrust upon him, he faces a bleak existence in an unfamiliar realm that has already rejected him. Yet, just as despair threatens to consume him, his fate takes an extraordinary turn through the intervention of Kyle, a former hero and cherished friend who offers him a miraculous third chance at life. Through this profound bond, Setsuna inherits Kyle’s immense knowledge, formidable power, and very lifeforce. No longer bound by the physical limitations that once defined him, he is finally freed from the heavy tethers of his past. Shedding the discarded mantle of a failed savior, Setsuna steps forward on his own terms, choosing to forge a new path as an adventurer rather than a prophesied champion. As he travels across this vast world, Setsuna encounters individuals from all walks of life, each meeting weaving a new thread into the tapestry of his existence. These fleeting yet meaningful experiences promise to leave an indelible mark not only on his own soul but on the very world around him, transforming a journey born of rejection into one of quiet, enduring purpose.
