Vermeil in Gold

Alto is a struggling student at the prestigious Royal Ortigia Magic Academy, where his consistently poor academic performance threatens his chances of graduating. Facing mounting pressure and running out of time to salvage his grades through conventional study, he makes the desperate decision to seek supernatural help. Rather than pursuing a sensible path to academic improvement, Alto attempts a summoning ritual in hopes of gaining otherworldly assistance before his final evaluations arrive. The spell s쳮ds far beyond his expectations, binding the legendary she-devil Vermeil to him as his personal familiar. With her immense power now at his side, Alto finally possesses the means to turn his failing marks around and secure his future at the academy. However, this extraordinary alliance comes with an unusual condition: Vermeil can only restore her magical energy through a kiss from her contractor. This intimate requirement quickly complicates Alto’s life outside the classroom. His childhood friend Lilia, who harbors deep feelings for him, becomes fiercely jealous upon discovering the nature of his bond with the demonic familiar. What began as a straightforward attempt to save his academic career soon spirals into a turbulent situation, forcing Alto to navigate the dangerous waters between harnessing Vermeil's formidable abilities and managing Lilia's growing resentment.
