Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin

Boyle Samejima is a quintessential hard-boiled police officer whose career takes an unexpected turn when he receives a sudden transfer to the remote Ogasawara Islands. Far removed from the gritty urban streets he is accustomed to patrolling, this isolated tropical setting forces him to completely rethink his approach to law enforcement. Upon arriving at his new precinct, Samejima quickly realizes that his colleagues are far from ordinary, presenting him with a daily environment unlike anything he has ever encountered in his professional life. The situation grows even more surreal when he discovers the unique individuals who will be central to his new life on the islands. Among them is a mysterious young girl whose presence adds an enigmatic layer to his surroundings, alongside an astonishing revelation regarding his new partner: a dolphin. Thrust into an unprecedented dynamic that intertwines police work, oceanic adventure, and an unlikely trio, Samejima must navigate this bizarre arrangement while maintaining his tough, no-nonsense demeanor. This extraordinary blend of crime-fighting, island life, and marine partnership sets the stage for what promises to be the most wildly unconventional hard-boiled detective story ever told.
