Hi no Ataranai Basho

Hiroya lives with a severe allergy to sunlight, a condition that has profoundly shaped his existence. Fifteen years ago, he fled the island where he grew up, leaving behind a dark and painful past. Since then, he has worked hard to build a new life, eventually establishing a town renewal business alongside his close group of gay friends. For over a decade, he has managed to keep his history buried, finding stability and purpose in his work and chosen family. Yet beneath his carefully constructed present, Hiroya still harbors deeply hidden feelings for Takuto, a former classmate who was also his first love. He believed that chapter of his life was permanently closed until the day an unexpected phone call reaches his company's office. The voice on the other end is one he could never possibly forget—Takuto himself. This sudden reappearance threatens to unravel the quiet life Hiroya has spent fifteen years building, forcing him to confront the unresolved emotions and lingering shadows he thought he had finally escaped.
