Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru

Sakurako Kujou is a brilliant and strikingly beautiful woman in her mid-twenties whose singular obsession defines her entire existence: bones. Possessing an exceptionally low tolerance for other people, she would likely spend her days entirely alone within her study, surrounded by skeletal specimens, were it not for the presence of Shotaro. This high school boy has unexpectedly become her dedicated assistant and constant companion, though the precise reason she took such a sudden liking to him remains an unsolved puzzle. Despite Sakurako’s reclusive tendencies, the pair frequently venture out into the world together. However, their excursions rarely unfold as ordinary outings. Whenever the eccentric bone enthusiast and her young assistant step outside, they find themselves drawn toward macabre discoveries with unsettling regularity. The likelihood of stumbling upon a human corpse seems to follow them wherever they go, transforming casual trips into impromptu crime scenes. Bound by this bizarre twist of fate, Sakurako and Shotaro must navigate a world where death constantly lingers just beneath the surface.
