Ai Daro

Yukihiro and Takase are coworkers at the same company who share a discreet physical relationship. While their connection deepens, Takase’s carefree personality and casual involvement with women introduce painful complications that leave Yukihiro struggling to navigate his feelings. The fragile bond they have built is pushed to its limits when Yukihiro is unexpectedly transferred to a new department located three hours away. This sudden separation forces both men to confront whether their newly formed relationship can survive the distance and emotional strain. Beyond this central romance, the collection explores other poignant encounters. Kamihara has never experienced genuine romantic affection toward anyone, a fact he resents when pointed out by Nakahashi. Despite sharing a similar emotional detachment, Nakahashi suddenly confesses his feelings, leaving Kamihara entirely unsure of how to respond to such an unexpected declaration. In another story, Chiaki possesses an enduring weakness for rescuing abandoned creatures. When he stumbles upon a man being brutally assaulted by a gang, his instinct compels him to intervene. He brings the battered stranger back to his home to treat his injuries, setting the stage for an unforeseen connection born from a single act of compassion.
