Jin Young is an academically gifted student whose impressive grades mask a quietly fragile state of mind. Sharing the same school is Hye Jung, a bright and cheerful girl who spends her time helping out at her mother’s modest eatery, a small establishment that serves light meals to local diners. Though their personalities stand in stark contrast, their paths align when both girls transfer to a specialized private institution focused on independent study. It is at this new school that they encounter Si Hyung, one of the instructors guiding the students. For Si Hyung, meeting Jin Young again is a jarring experience. The two once lived in the very same neighborhood during their childhood, sharing early memories of a much different girl. Now, he is taken aback by how drastically she has transformed over the years, having grown into someone unexpectedly cold and distant. As their lives intertwine within the quiet halls of their new academic environment, the lingering echoes of the past begin to complicate their present connections.
