Puchi-D

Puchi-D, also known as Petite-D, is a bimonthly manga magazine published under the Sanwa Comics D-collection label, sharing its imprint with related yaoi publications such as D-Pri and D-Heaven. The fourth volume of the series centers around a unifying theme of animal ears, presenting a diverse anthology of interconnected short stories that explore fantasy, companionship, and unexpected transformations. The collection opens with a young man who adores cute things and rescues a stray cat, only to discover it has transformed into a boy with feline ears and a tail upon arriving home. Other tales follow a boy who mysteriously sprouts bear ears after experimenting on his friends during winter, and a vulnerable bunny-boy who wanders away from home and encounters a cat despite his poor survival instincts. Further narratives include a pet owner navigating his cat's sudden heat cycle, a sheep willingly entering wolf territory with surprising intentions, and a wealthy man whose seemingly compassionate adoption of an unwanted black rabbit conceals ulterior motives. The volume concludes with emotionally resonant stories: a devoted cat caring for a mentally challenged boy, and a desperate friendship tested when feathers sprout from Tamura’s head, drawing angels who arrive to claim him.
