The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2

With another catastrophic Wave set to strike in just one week, Naofumi Iwatani and his companions face immense pressure to prepare. Their urgent timeline is abruptly disrupted when swarms of bat familiars launch a sudden assault on Lurolona Village. Even more alarming, the countdown to the impending Wave mysteriously freezes, leaving the heroes without answers. Seeking clarity amid the chaos, the Four Cardinal Heroes gather for an emergency briefing with Queen Mirelia Q Melromarc to assess the unprecedented threat. The queen deduces that these strange disturbances are directly connected to the Spirit Tortoise, a colossal and destructive beast that has recently awakened from its ancient slumber. Now roaming free once more, the creature threatens to unleash widespread devastation across the land. To prevent catastrophe, a decisive strategy is formulated to subdue the monstrous entity and return it to its dormant state. However, when the moment arrives to act, hesitation grips three of the four legendary warriors. Ultimately, only Naofumi—the ostracized Shield Hero, who still bears the weight of his cursed powers—steps forward and agrees to undertake the perilous mission to stop the Spirit Tortoise.
