Boku wa Ningyo Hime wo Tabetai

Amami Riza is no ordinary student. As a direct descendant of mermaids, she carries an ancient and mystical lineage within her bloodline. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she comes into possession of a remarkable jewel imbued with the true power of the sea. Upon interacting with this artifact, Riza experiences her very first transformation into a mermaid, awakening abilities that have long remained dormant within her family line. However, this extraordinary metamorphosis does not go unnoticed. On the very day she assumes her aquatic form for the first time, her classmate Kanda Ruka stumbles upon her hidden secret. Rather than reacting with fear or disbelief, Ruka approaches her with a desperate and deeply personal plea. He asks Riza for her mermaid tears, a legendary substance whispered about in myths and said to possess the miraculous ability to cure absolutely any affliction. Ruka’s urgent request stems from a dark and troubling reality: he is suffering under the weight of a mysterious curse. Bound together by this sudden revelation, Riza must navigate the challenges of her newly awakened heritage while confronting the supernatural burden threatening her classmate's life.
