Moscow Calling!

Inspired by the artistry of Japanese manga and steeped in the gritty atmosphere of 2000s Russia, Moscow Calling! captures a society at a turning point. Television psychics dominate the airwaves while private media outlets are only just beginning to understand the weight of their influence. Amid this cultural shift, renowned television mogul Arkady Shpilenberg leverages his popular radio station to announce the Anton Gamuletsky Contest—a staggering challenge offering ten million rubles to anyone capable of proving they possess genuine superpowers. Driven by the promise of the prize, a man named Georgiy embarks on an ambitious journey across the vast expanse of Russia. However, he quickly discovers he is far from the only one chasing the fortune. The competition proves perilous as he clashes with rival contestants desperate to claim the grand reward, revealing that true power is far more dangerous than any parlor trick or magic act. Along his arduous path, Georgiy encounters unexpected allies who help him navigate the chaos. Among them are Timur, a cunning joker with his own agenda, and members of the enigmatic "Northern Booze Division," alongside many other memorable figures drawn into the spectacle of the contest.
