In a surprising turn of events, Jiang Chuan wakes up to find a mysterious woman from ancient times, Zhu Jingjing, claiming to be the daughter of Zhu Yuanzhang, in his bed. As he navigates her through the modern world, he unwittingly broadcasts their experiences live to the skies, and subsequently to all the dynasties in Chinese history. Witnessing the stark contrast between ancient and modern times, Zhu Yuanzhang is shocked by predictions of his son's untimely demise, while Zhu Di is left speechless with fear. Similarly, Zhu Jingjing's encounters with historical figures such as Ying Zheng and Liu Che are met with equal shock and awe, as he takes her to witness the power of modern technology, including an intercontinental ballistic missile launch and a military parade.
