Hisui Kobanashi

Hisui Kobanashi is a series of stop-motion animated shorts created to promote the upcoming release of Pokémon LEGENDS: Arceus. The project showcases distinctive craftsmanship by bringing the Hisuian form of Biriridama to life through carefully staged physical animation, offering viewers a charming and tactile visual experience tied directly to the game's marketing campaign. Designed as promotional material for the highly anticipated title, these brief episodes highlight the unique regional variant of the familiar Electric-type Pokémon within the historical setting associated with the Hisui region. By utilizing traditional stop-motion techniques rather than conventional digital animation, the shorts deliver a distinct artistic style that sets them apart from standard promotional content, effectively capturing attention while celebrating the aesthetic themes of the upcoming game.
