Chasing Spica

Nekozuka Serina is a dedicated third-year high school student pouring all her energy into securing a scholarship. Despite her serious academic ambitions, her naturally cute and fashionable appearance frequently puts her at odds with the school’s strict dress code. This constant friction draws the relentless attention of Tachibana Reiko, a vigilant member of the disciplinary committee who never misses an opportunity to reprimand her. Adding to Serina’s frustration, Reiko consistently outperforms her in both academics and athletics, no matter how hard she strives to compete. The dynamic between the two girls shifts dramatically one afternoon when Serina accidentally witnesses something entirely unexpected. After school, she spots Reiko meeting up with an unidentified woman, and the pair proceeds directly into a love hotel together. Suddenly, the strict, rule-enforcing committee member harbors a significant secret that Serina now holds. Bound by this startling discovery, the relationship between the diligent scholarship hopeful and her perpetual rival is poised to change forever as they navigate the tension of their shared knowledge.
