RanK stands as one of the nation's most popular idol groups, captivating audiences with its contrasting members. Qiu Chenyu, performing under the stage name RON, embraces the persona of a cool and effortlessly handsome star. Meanwhile, Yu Lang, known to fans as KIMI, has been deliberately cast by the industry as the group's loud, comedic relief. However, this exaggerated public image is nothing more than a carefully constructed facade that hides his true personality. Behind the spotlight, Yu Lang is entirely different from the noisy clown he is forced to perform as, leaving him trapped in an exhausting role that misrepresents who he really is. Watching this quiet struggle unfold from the shadows is Ying Yue, Yu Lang’s devoted childhood friend. She observes his daily life in silence, fully aware of the stark contrast between the boy she grew up with and the caricature he presents on stage. Rather than intervening directly, she remains a steadfast presence in the background, holding onto a heartfelt wish. She hopes that her closest friend will soon find the strength to break free from the confines of his manufactured persona and finally reveal his authentic self to the world.
