Our 2

Created to commemorate the seven-hundredth anniversary of Dante Alighieri’s passing, Our 2 offers a profound reinterpretation of the legendary reunion between Dante and Beatrice. The narrative traces their timeless connection from the early verses of La Vita Nuova through the three realms of the Divine Comedy—Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven—using this classic journey as a lens to examine contemporary struggles. Against this backdrop of literary history, the film confronts a generation navigating an uncertain era that began unfolding in 2020, asking where today’s youth stand and what direction they must take. At its core, the story explores the boundless freedom of choice available to young people in a world on the brink of transformation. Characters face the ultimate dilemma: whether to succumb to despair or to embrace life, love, and the promise of an emerging new reality. The conflict lies not in external battles, but in the internal courage required to move forward with compassion for oneself and others. Ultimately, the film serves as a poetic gift dedicated to the young and vulnerable, urging them to leap into this new world guided by self-love and a deep affection for humanity.
