Geumbogi Iyagi

Set against the rich historical backdrop of Korea’s Joseon dynasty, Geumbogi Iyagi unfolds as a heartwarming tale of companionship and found family. At the center of the story is a young scholar whose gentle nature is matched only by his fragile health. Burdened by a kind but physically weak heart, he lives a quiet and solitary life until an unexpected encounter changes everything. His loneliness is interrupted when he crosses paths with a stray black kitten harboring a strange and mysterious secret. As the scholar takes the peculiar creature in, an unlikely bond begins to form between them. However, their growing closeness does not go unnoticed by his devoted servant boy, who has long stood by his master's side. Fiercely loyal yet quietly jealous, the servant finds himself struggling to accept this new addition to their small household. Together, these three distinct souls navigate the complexities of trust, affection, and belonging. Through their shared days in a changing world, they slowly forge a tender connection that transcends their differences, weaving a deeply emotional narrative about the families we choose and the unspoken bonds that heal even the most isolated hearts.
