Shouji Fujimoto is a widowed single father navigating life while pursuing his dream of becoming a picture book author. His world shifts when he unexpectedly crosses paths with Minami Takasaki outside of her professional environment. Minami is the beloved singing idol featured on the popular children's educational program Let's Sing Along With Our Songstress!, where she spends her days entertaining young audiences with warmth and energy. Despite her cheerful public persona, Minami leads a deeply isolated private life. The strict demands of her career as a television idol for children dictate that any hint of romance or personal scandal is absolutely forbidden. She is not permitted to fall in love, leaving her profoundly lonely behind the scenes. However, her chance encounter with Shouji challenges the rigid boundaries of her carefully controlled existence. Drawn together by their shared vulnerabilities and quiet aspirations, the two find themselves stepping into uncharted emotional territory. Bound by the pressures of parenthood, artistic ambition, and the unforgiving expectations of the entertainment industry, they must navigate a relationship that defies the rules governing Minami's career. What unfolds is a tender, mature love story between a devoted father and a songsmith yearning for genuine connection beyond the stage.
