Dreaming of Another You

Tatara is a college student with an unusual gift: he frequently experiences vivid lucid dreams. Lately, his nights have been dominated by the presence of Gaku, a young man he has only ever encountered within these sleeping visions. Despite existing solely in Tatara’s subconscious world, Gaku possesses a warmth and brightness that feels entirely real. He is kind, effortlessly comforting, and always manages to put Tatara completely at ease whenever they spend time together. Their encounters have grown so enjoyable that Tatara now finds himself eagerly anticipating bedtime, counting down the hours until he can close his eyes and return to Gaku’s company. However, the boundary between comfort and unexpected intensity begins to blur during one particular dream. While the two are casually spending time together as usual, the familiar atmosphere suddenly shifts. Without warning, Tatara feels something pressing firmly against him from behind, introducing an unforeseen physical sensation into their otherwise peaceful nightly escapes. This startling development threatens to transform the safe haven Tatara has built in his sleep into something far more unpredictable.
