Known on campus as the "Sunshine Human" and the "Hothouse Flower," Juwon is adored by everyone for her bright disposition and endearing appearance. Yet behind this flawless facade lies a grueling double life. Every evening at sunset, she travels to a nursing hospital on the city's outskirts to care for her terminally ill mother. Driven by her mother’s final wish to be surrounded by people in her last days, Juwan exhausts herself maintaining a cheerful persona at school while hiding her short-tempered reality as a weary caregiver. Her carefully guarded secret unravels when she unexpectedly crosses paths with Hangyeol in a hospital room. At college, Hangyeol is a striking but intimidating loner whose taciturn nature keeps everyone at arm's length. However, Juwon discovers him in an absurd disguise: wearing a loud, tight-fitting pink character T-shirt, twin apple-shaped ponytails secured with colorful hairpins, and wielding a magic wand. Like Juwon, he is secretly visiting the hospital to tend to his sick younger sister, using the ridiculous "Magical Girl" costume to entertain her. Having stumbled upon each other's hidden lives, the two form an unlikely caregiving alliance. Together, they must navigate the exhausting balance between their contrasting public personas on campus and their shared, demanding responsibilities within the hospital wards.
