The Book of Lagier

Embilden, the great Demon King and the first ruler to ever unite the demon world, was unexpectedly summoned by a human. The one responsible for this unprecedented feat was Prince Lagier Lou Jerlayla Rodwill, a greedy and overweight royal whose ambitions far exceeded his capabilities. However, the summoning ritual was fatally flawed. A critical mistake during the process killed the prince instantly, yet the binding contract he had forged with the Demon King caused his corpse to be forcefully frozen in time rather than decaying naturally. Intrigued by the situation, Embilden decided to inhabit the prince’s preserved body and fulfill the dying wish Lagier held before his untimely end. Taking on the identity of the fallen royal, the Demon King set forth an ultimate ambition: to transform the kingdom of Jerlayla into an unrivaled global superpower that would rule the world with unmatched might. This extraordinary fusion of demonic power and human royalty marks the beginning of a brand-new legend. Yet, before any grand conquest can begin, the newly reborn prince faces a far more immediate and humbling challenge. To wield this vessel effectively, Embilden realizes his very first task must be shedding the prince's excess weight—meaning the path to world domination starts with a strict diet.
