Yuigaoka Girls’ High School is a newly established academy in Tokyo that lacks any history, upperclassmen, or existing reputation. Its inaugural class of students faces the unique challenge of building a school culture entirely from scratch. Among these first-year enrollees is Kanon Shibuya, who steps forward to lead a small group of five girls determined to leave their mark on the institution. When this fledgling team discovers the world of school idols, a shared ambition begins to take shape. Driven by a growing desire to express themselves through singing, the five students decide to launch their own School Idol Project. With no predecessors to guide them and no legacy to uphold, they approach their endeavor with a completely blank slate, viewing their lack of experience not as a disadvantage but as a foundation for infinite potential. As they navigate the uncertainties of being the very first generation at Yuigaoka, their dedication to music and performance becomes their defining purpose. Together, Kanon and her teammates strive to transform their modest aspirations into something extraordinary, preparing to let their dreams soar as they embark on their very own journey toward the Love Live stage.
