Sakura's Garden

Sakura is an elementary school student with a deep affection for all things adorable. Her longing for a pet of her own reaches a peak after she spends time playing with her friend’s new puppy. Enchanted by the experience, she eagerly approaches her mother to beg for a dog, hoping to bring that same joy into her own home. However, her request is met with a firm and immediate refusal, leaving Sakura deeply disappointed and sulking over the rejection. Noticing her distress, Sakura’s grandfather steps in to offer a meaningful compromise. Rather than simply dismissing her wishes, he presents her with a challenge designed to test her dedication. He proposes a deal: if Sakura can take full responsibility for nurturing and caring for a bonsai tree for an entire year without fail, she will be allowed to finally have the dog she desires. This arrangement transforms her initial heartbreak into a journey of patience and growth, as the young girl must now prove her capability through daily devotion to a delicate plant before her dream of owning a puppy can become a reality.
