In a murim where open warfare has long faded into history, peace carries its own hidden cost. The survival and dominance of martial sects are no longer decided on sprawling battlefields, but through formal duels where a single loss can spell ruin. To secure victory in these high-stakes confrontations, prestigious clans engage in a clandestine trade, dealing in living weapons known as Amhyung. These individuals undergo grueling conditioning to perfectly master and dismantle the unique martial techniques of rival factions, serving as the ultimate secret advantage for their masters. Bred and trained for one singular purpose—to guarantee triumph in the arena—the Amhyung are treated as expendable tools rather than human beings. Once they have fulfilled their role or outlived their strategic value, they are ruthlessly discarded, their identities systematically erased from the world as if they never existed. Yet, those who were thrown away have not forgotten the hands that cast them aside. Stripped of everything but their lethal skills and burning resentment, the forsaken weapons now rise from the shadows, united by a single, unwavering resolve to exact vengeance upon the clans that created and destroyed them.
