Mizuno and Mitazon were once classmates during their middle school years, yet they could not have been more different from one another. Despite sharing the same classroom, their personalities stood in stark contrast, representing polar opposites in nearly every regard. As time passed and the two moved on from their school days, it seemed their brief connection had faded into the background of their separate lives. Years later, an unexpected phone call bridges the gap between them. Mitazon reaches out to his former classmate with a rather unusual request: he needs assistance caring for a group of stray kittens he has encountered. Trusting in their old, albeit contrasting, dynamic, Mizuno agrees to help. To ensure the vulnerable animals receive proper attention, Mizuno makes the decision to temporarily move into Mitazon's home, planning to stay only for a short while until the kittens are settled. What begins as a simple act of kindness quickly transforms into an unforeseen domestic arrangement. Suddenly, two individuals who once sat in the same classroom but shared little in common find themselves navigating the intimate challenges of daily life under one roof. Through the shared responsibility of raising these strays, this impromptu cohabitation forces Mizuno and Mitazon to confront their differences and discover what it truly means to live alongside a former classmate.
