Bokura no Micro na Shuumatsu

With only ten days remaining before a meteor obliterates the Earth, Masumi—a man perpetually plagued by misfortune—seeks a quiet refuge to spend his final hours in peace. Hoping to find solace away from the impending chaos, he returns to the library of his former school, intending to lose himself in books until the world comes to an end. However, his plan for a tranquil farewell is abruptly shattered when he encounters the last person he ever wished to see again: Ritsu, a figure from his past who feels more like a devil than a fellow survivor. As if facing the apocalypse were not enough, this unexpected reunion brings an unforeseen complication. Ritsu approaches Masumi with a startling request, one that completely defies anything Masumi could have anticipated during humanity's final countdown. What begins as a desperate attempt to escape into literature quickly transforms into something far more complex and demanding. Through this eccentric narrative, Marukido Maki crafts a deeply emotional exploration of human connection against the backdrop of total annihilation, guiding readers through a turbulent journey where the end of the world becomes the stage for an unforgettable encounter.
