Realia

Found as a child in the depths of a forest, Milledia was taken in and raised by Olendia, the matriarch of a powerful witch family entrusted with overseeing military affairs. Despite her sheltered upbringing, Milledia’s thoughts always returned to Aki, a young man she once encountered in those very woods. She held onto the memory of him for years, longing for the day they might meet again. Yet when that cherished reunion finally came to pass, it did not bring the joy she had imagined. Instead, it set into motion a nightmare that threatened to consume the entire world. Now seventeen years old, Milledia steps forward as the official representative of the witch families. Accompanied by her trusted comrades, she journeys to the imperial capital on a mission of critical diplomatic importance: to secure a fragile truce between two nations by serving as the sworn guardian of the empire’s next heir apparent. But beneath this noble duty lies a devastating personal burden. To protect the peace and fulfill her sacred role, Milledia must ultimately carry out an unthinkable task—she has been ordered to kill the one person she loves most.
