Millietta, the daughter of an earl, is rapidly approaching a marriageable age. Hoping to secure a suitable match, she attends an evening party specifically designed for young nobles seeking betrothal. During the event, she casually hands her handkerchief to a knight she had briefly encountered before—a seemingly insignificant gesture that sets unexpected events into motion. To her complete astonishment, the very next day, the knight arrives at her family’s estate and formally proposes marriage. Bewildered by his sudden and intense declaration, Millietta nonetheless finds herself captivated by his gentle demeanor and unwavering kindness. Yet beneath his chivalrous exterior lies a far more consuming devotion. The knight harbors a fierce determination, quietly vowing that he has no intention of ever letting her slip away, regardless of what it takes to keep her by his side. As their engagement unfolds, his deeply overprotective and obsessive affection slowly begins to surface, revealing a possessive nature that threatens to consume them both.
