After forging a pact with Berial, the King of Hell, a young girl named Illya receives an extraordinary education in the arcane arts. Her magical abilities advance at a remarkable pace, quickly drawing the attention of the royal court and earning her a coveted apprenticeship among the kingdom's elite. However, the glamorous facade of palace life soon shatters. Instead of pursuing pure magical study, Illya finds herself surrounded by the relentless political maneuvering of scheming nobles and the underhanded tactics of the high court wizard. Disillusioned by the toxic environment and unwilling to become another pawn in their endless power struggles, Illya makes a bold decision: she resigns from her prestigious position entirely. Abandoning both her post and the country itself, she sets out on a journey to forge a new path free from royal interference. As she searches for a fresh purpose, Illya begins to explore the intricate art of crafting magical items. Leaving behind the treacherous world of court politics, she wonders if dedicating her formidable talents to creation might finally lead her to her true destiny.
