Hinata Harusawa, a working web designer, is suddenly pulled back into his past when he receives devastating news: the body of his best friend, Sora Otonashi, has finally been discovered. Sora had vanished without a trace during their second year of high school, leaving behind nothing but unanswered questions. Seeking closure, Hinata attends the wake alongside former members of the art club Sora once belonged to—Director Hase, Deputy Director Tokiwa, and their senior, Shinohara. However, the solemn gathering quickly descends into chaos. Shinohara is ambushed by an unknown assailant, and Hinata soon finds himself under attack as well. Desperate to protect a precious painting, he fights back with everything he has, but his strength falters as his consciousness slowly fades away. When he finally opens his eyes, the nightmare takes an impossible turn: he has awakened in "that place" on "that day." Thrust back into the pivotal moments surrounding his friend's vanishing, Hinata must now navigate a terrifying second chance to uncover the dark truth behind Sora's disappearance and death.
