Kiyoko is a brilliant but deeply eccentric psychologist who has spent her life isolated from society, shunning human connection. Her solitary existence is abruptly disrupted when she receives a devastating suicide note from the one person she ever considered a friend. In this heartbreaking final message, her former companion makes a desperate plea: Kiyoko must take in Haruto and Rion, two siblings about to be left behind as "suicide orphans." Bound by a sense of obligation to her only past relationship, Kiyoko finds herself suddenly responsible for two grieving children. What follows is an unconventional domestic arrangement under a single roof. None of these three individuals fit the mold of a traditional household, and their collective reality stands far removed from any concept of normal happiness. Instead of a picture-perfect family, they form a fragile, makeshift unit built on shared loss and profound social awkwardness. Yet, amid the heavy weight of grief and isolation, unexpected moments of warmth and absurdity begin to surface. Their daily lives together unfold into a narrative that balances deep sorrow with surprising humor, exploring how three broken people might slowly navigate the complexities of living, healing, and finding their own unique version of belonging.
