Chiaki has finally discovered a genuine source of joy in his otherwise unremarkable life. His greatest anticipation comes from the infrequent visits of a local flower vendor, a quiet merchant who only opens shop once every few months. These rare encounters have become the highlight of Chiaki’s days, giving him something meaningful to look forward to as time slowly passes. However, an unexpected turn of events shifts the dynamic between them entirely. While delivering mail to the vendor's residence, Chiaki inadvertently stumbles upon a deeply guarded secret that the flower seller has kept hidden from the world. This accidental discovery shatters the ordinary boundaries of their acquaintance, fundamentally altering the nature of their relationship. Rather than driving them apart, this revelation creates an unforeseen opening. The shared knowledge of such an intimate truth grants Chiaki a unique opportunity to bridge the distance between them. As the initial shock settles, he finds himself stepping closer to Mei, transforming a simple admiration for a passing vendor into a much deeper and more personal connection.
