Swallowed Star

In the year 2056, the remnants of human civilization cling to survival within a desolate landscape. A teenager sits in quiet solitude atop the shattered ruins of a six-story apartment building, located in what was once a prefecture-level city in the Jiangsu region. Clad in a tactical vest, combat pants, and reinforced alloy boots, he is fully prepared for the dangers that lurk in the dark. Strapped to his back are his tools of survival: a hexagonal shield and a Bloodshadow combat sword, weapons essential for navigating this unforgiving world. Perched on the edge of the crumbling rooftop, the young man remains perfectly still beneath a brilliant, star-filled sky. A cool night breeze sweeps through the wreckage, offering a fleeting breath of fresh air against his skin. Yet, despite the serene beauty of the heavens above, the reality below is far more grim. The ruined city is swallowed by an oppressive silence, broken only by occasional, bone-chilling howls echoing from the shadows. In this forsaken place, every moment demands vigilance, and the young warrior waits, ready to face whatever emerges from the darkness.
