Fuuin Maou wa Mederaretai

While wandering through the woods, Lilian Eddington stumbles upon a mysterious yet endearing black beast. Despite her grandfather's firm insistence that she cannot keep the creature as a pet, Lilian refuses to abandon it. Eventually yielding to her determination, he allows her to care for the animal, whom she affectionately names Woolbo. Overjoyed, Lilian leans in and kisses her new companion on the nose, unknowingly triggering a powerful magical seal. In an instant, the small beast transforms into the fearsome Demon Lord himself. Initially dismissive and condescending toward the young girl who inadvertently broke his curse, the Demon Lord soon finds his arrogance softening. Much like Lilian’s refusal to leave him behind in the forest, he realizes that he, too, is unable to walk away from her. Bound together by an unexpected twist of fate, the unlikely pair must now navigate their peculiar dynamic as they share their days together. Fuuin Maou wa Mederaretai began serialization on the author's Twitter and pixiv accounts on March 30, 2019. It was subsequently released as a doujinshi, with its first volume debuting at Comic Market 96. Digital editions have been distributed by Blic Shuppan since February 5, 2021.
