The Second Hand Ticks With the Sound of Love

Seven years ago, Yudai ended his relationship with Chiaki in the cruelest way possible. Dismissing their connection as nothing more than a casual arrangement, he delivered a devastating parting line and left behind a broken watch as a bitter symbol of their severed bond. The breakup was harsh and final, yet its emotional aftermath proved far more complicated than Yudai ever anticipated. Despite being the one who pushed Chiaki away, he found himself entirely unable to move on. Instead of discarding the memento of their fractured past, he kept the broken timepiece close, preserving it with quiet care as the years slipped by. Fate intervenes when the two men unexpectedly cross paths once again after nearly a decade apart. This unforeseen reunion forces them to confront the lingering feelings they have both carried in silence. For Yudai, the encounter represents more than just a chance meeting; it is a long-awaited opportunity to face the emotions he tried so desperately to bury. As they stand before each other, the metaphorical clock that stopped ticking seven years ago finally begins to move again. Together, their isolated hearts start to heal, proving that even shattered time can find its rhythm once more through the enduring power of love.
