Animetamae! Tensei no Miko

Shinka and Sagiri lead a demanding double life, balancing the ordinary responsibilities of high school students with their extraordinary duty as protectors of humanity. By day, they attend classes and pursue careers as voice actresses, navigating the challenges of everyday adolescence. However, beneath this seemingly normal existence lies a far greater burden, as the two girls are tasked with battling dangerous youkai to keep innocent people safe from supernatural harm. Their ongoing struggle against these malevolent spirits forms the core conflict of the narrative, forcing Shinka and Sagiri to constantly shift between the spotlight of their professional voice acting work and the perilous front lines of their hidden war. The story draws deeply from the rich tapestry of Japanese cultural heritage, weaving in characters and thematic elements loosely inspired by traditional folklore, Shintoism, and Buddhism. This spiritual foundation gives their encounters with youkai a distinct mythological weight, grounding their modern-day battles in ancient beliefs. As they strive to maintain their public personas while confronting otherworldly threats, the two protagonists must rely on each other to survive the relentless dangers that lurk just beyond the boundaries of the human world.
