Omoi no Mukou

Omoi no Mukou is a one-shot manga created by Kuromasa Shisei, who serves as both the writer and illustrator. The story centers on the everyday lives of two high school students deeply connected through their shared involvement in the Drama Club. At the heart of the narrative is Yuki, the current president of the club, who finds herself quietly reflecting on her role and the responsibilities she carries. Yuki’s closest companion is her best friend, Saori, a girl defined by her boundless energy and vibrant personality. Where Yuki may occasionally lose sight of her own drive, Saori remains a constant source of warmth and enthusiasm. Through her spirited presence, Saori inadvertently prompts Yuki to look inward, reminding her of the original passion that inspired her to take on the leadership of the Drama Club in the first place. This heartfelt one-shot explores the quiet but profound impact that friendship can have on personal motivation. As Saori’s lively nature shines through, Yuki reconnects with the very reasons she stepped into her position, transforming a simple interaction between best friends into a meaningful moment of self-discovery and renewed purpose.
