Ashita Shinu nara Nani Shitai?

Sou is a God of Death who has recently found herself in a precarious professional position, having fallen dangerously behind on her required quota of collected souls. Desperate to meet her obligations and avoid the consequences of her shortfall, she turns to the Black Book—a forbidden registry containing the names of the most dangerous and volatile souls available for reaping. Seeking a quick resolution to her dilemma, Sou sets her sights on a specific target named Ashiya Makoto, believing that securing this soul will finally put her back on track. Approaching Makoto with a proposition that should be impossible to refuse, Sou offers to grant absolutely anything the human desires in exchange for surrendering her soul. As a God of Death, Sou expects typical requests born from greed, ambition, or desperation. However, Makoto’s response completely defies expectations. Instead of asking for wealth, power, or revenge, she presents Sou with a deeply unexpected request that upends the entire arrangement. Now, the struggling deity must navigate an unforeseen complication that challenges everything she understands about her duty and the true value of a human soul.
