Saikyou Mahoushi no Inton Keikaku: The Alternative

In a world plagued by rampaging Fiends, sixteen-year-old Alus Reigin stands as humanity’s most formidable defender. As the nation’s top-ranked Magicmaster among more than one hundred thousand practitioners, he has personally vanquished more monsters and reclaimed more lost territory than anyone else alive. Exhausted by relentless warfare, the young prodigy formally requests retirement from military service, hoping to finally leave the battlefield behind. However, fate intervenes, denying him the quiet life he seeks. Bound by his unparalleled status, Alus is instead reassigned to an elite magical academy under strict orders to conceal his true identity. There, he assumes the role of an ordinary student while secretly mentoring his chosen successors—a pair of exceptionally talented and beautiful young Magicmasters. Even within the academy walls, the threat of the Fiends never truly fades. Forced to continue hunting them down in the shadows to protect both his secret and the people around him, Alus must balance the mundane challenges of school life with his covert crusade. Thus begins the epic journey of the greatest Magicmaster, navigating a hidden war while shaping the next generation of defenders.
