Meitei no Onna Youhei Belle

A young traveler navigating dangerous roads faces the constant threat of bandits and realizes that hiring a mercenary for protection is no longer optional but a matter of survival. However, limited funds quickly turn this practical necessity into a difficult compromise. Unable to afford the services of seasoned or reputable fighters, the traveler is forced to settle for the absolute cheapest option available on the market. That bargain comes in the form of Belle, a youthful warrior girl who seems perpetually caught in a cheerful, drunken haze. Rather than presenting the disciplined demeanor expected of a professional bodyguard, she approaches life with an intoxicating levity, spending nearly all of her hard-earned wages on alcohol. Despite her heavy drinking and carefree attitude, she remains a capable fighter hired to keep her employer alive. The arrangement sets the stage for an unpredictable journey. The traveler must now rely on a protector whose judgment is frequently clouded by drink, balancing the relief of having an armed escort against the anxiety of her reckless habits. Together, this mismatched pair ventures forward, hoping that Belle’s combat skills will prove stronger than her thirst when danger finally arrives.
