Katayama-kun, Meshiagare!

Katayama is the definition of a picky eater, navigating his high school days with a strictly limited diet and an otherwise uneventful routine. His quiet youth takes an unexpected turn when Mikoru Iinuma, a cheerful and athletic beauty with a hearty appetite, decides to take charge of his meals. During their daily lunch breaks, she begins personally feeding him, transforming his peaceful afternoons into moments of absolute agony as he struggles against her overwhelming enthusiasm. Despite their vastly different personalities, these two students—who would never have crossed paths under normal circumstances—find themselves drawn together over the shared experience of food. What unfolds is a charming coming-of-age romantic comedy centered around a boy who avoids most dishes and a girl who embraces every bite. As they spend their midday hours side by side, the simple act of sharing a meal slowly bridges the gap between them, hinting that food might just be the key to bringing them closer together. Katayama’s once-ordinary adolescence is about to be completely transformed. With every lunch break, his life becomes infused with a dangerously excessive helping of nutrition and affection, spicing up his world in ways he never could have anticipated.
