After the Storm

Masahiko Sakaki leads a comfortable life as the head of a furniture import company. Content with keeping his personal affairs uncomplicated, he has settled into a casual relationship that demands nothing more than surface-level affection. For Masahiko, this arrangement is perfect, offering companionship without the vulnerability of deeper emotional attachment. He has carefully maintained these boundaries, believing that his heart remains safely guarded against any unexpected complications. However, those carefully constructed walls begin to crumble when he crosses paths with Kazuki Okada, one of his business clients. What was meant to be a strictly professional interaction gradually shifts into something far more profound and unsettling. Against his own expectations and intentions, Masahiko finds himself falling deeply for Kazuki, transforming his once-simple life into an emotional struggle. This unforeseen connection forces both men to confront feelings they never anticipated, turning a routine business dynamic into a poignant and heartbreaking romance between two genuinely sincere adults. As their bond deepens, the narrative explores the tender complexities of their situation, revealing the quiet struggles and pure devotion that define their relationship. The manga also features a special bonus story that offers a glimpse into what unfolds after the main events, providing readers with an extended look at the lives of these two characters as they navigate the aftermath of their emotional journey.
